Breakdance:
• Breakdance group ILL SKILL SQUAD
The break-dance group ILL SKILL SQUAD is a group that, besides giving performances, leads workshops during one day with school groups, educational and cultural groups but also with all other kind of persons willing to do an exercise. The goal of the workshops is to try the impossible. Through their unique and original manner, the group works with other groups that one wouldn’t expect of, such as traditional ethnic folk-dance group or socially deprived groups like street-children, etc. The group also has its own production, doing break-dance on classical music. The orientation of the Ill Skill Squad is cross-disciplinary. The results of the workshops can then be shown to the public. They will f.i. have breakdance battles with Romanian breakdancers, do freestyle on the streets and squares in the city, breakdance ON classic shows on big stages open air and on dance-parties indoor. This is an initiative of the Production House East – Netherlands and the result could be surprising.

Objects theatre:
• Theatre group Tam Tam
The Dutch theatre group Tam Tam was founded in 1979. Since then they produced some 30 shows combining various forms of art and researching the possibilities of visual theatre. This resulted in a new and original TAM TAM-style. They are considered to be part of the avant-garde of European visual theatre. They have a repertoire of performances for youth and adults. They performed in 19 countries, at festivals of different desciplines, in theatres, in the streets, in schools and in various unusual places. The result of 25 years of research is clearly visible in the style of the performances. Text has almost disappeared and images and sounds tell the story with a subtle dose of absurd black humour. The tailor-made soundtracks, the inventive technical effects and the ingenious lighting have become more important through the years. The performances are inspired by the humour of silent movies and cartoons, by classic theatre- and film effects and by a collection of found objects. TAM TAM translates these influences into an absurd theatre-style, which critics describe as subtle, visually highly attractive and very unusual.

African basic dance:
• AMUKA
AMUKA can teach the African basic dance. She played seven years in the group Cacimbon on small traditional percussion instruments, teached by Mangue Camara, who died 12 June 2006. Since 2000 she is a graduated teacher in African dance (Amsterdam Highschool for Arts). Every year since 1999 she works for a period in Africa; in “le vieux quartier” she lives the life with the people and sings and dance with the children in the neighbourhoods. Amuka has also followed an education in working with people with disabilities, therefore in order to involve also the disabled children in the city and county of Sibiu in our programme, Amuka together with her two partners will give performances and organise workshops in f.i. institutions for children with disabilities in the Sibiu county and in schools.
